Mike Gillerman lives in New York but is originally from Scottsdale, Arizona because everyone makes mistakes. He’s done a bunch of cool things like talk into a camera on The Wendy Williams Show, write articles for The Advocate and Elite Daily, perform in the longest variety show ever (which put him in The Guinness Book of World Records) and he was the only NYC comedian selected for the 2014 San Diego Comedy Festival. In 2015 Mike will be one of 72 featured comedians at the prestigious Laughing Skull Comedy Festival.
He’s the guy behind the guy, behind that other guy of the successful comedy shows A Tale of Two Grindrs, The Movin On Up Comedy Show, Elephant Walk Comedy Show, and Sharpshooter Comedy Show. He’s the co-creator of The Something’s Off Campus Comedy Tour and the creator of The Gay For Pay Comedy Tour coming to colleges Spring 2016.
Whether making jokes about growing up black (look at the picture) or discussing gay rights in a way most dare not venture, Mike is not afraid to push the envelope, pull it and set it on fire. His first goal is to make audiences laugh. His second, to make them think. When not telling jokes, Mike enjoys hating button fly jeans and eating Chipotle. Way. Too. Much.
